Today, we announced that as of 27th March 2019, Connected Technologies Inc. in Brampton, Ontario, has been acquired by Calligo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connected Technologies is a Canadian specialist in outsourced IT and cloud services, including Microsoft Azure and Office 365, with more than 200 customers. The acquisition complements our two previous acquisitions in Canada \u2013 cloud services provider, 3 Peaks<\/a>, in October 2017 and Mico Systems<\/a>, an outsourced IT services company, in May of last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

We are very excited about what the acquisition of Connected Technologies means for Calligo in Canada and internationally. This acquisition was the result of obvious synergies between our two organizations \u2013 strong company cultures, a shared focus on customer centricity and a hunger for innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding Connected Technologies\u2019 experience and skills to our already substantial team makes Calligo one of the largest IT managed services providers serving the Greater Toronto Area by both client numbers and team headcount. The combined client base also gives Calligo the largest concentration of CPA customers in the region and the longest track record in serving the industry\u2019s IT, cloud and data residency needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking more broadly, we are also anticipating this acquisition strengthening our delivery of public and hybrid Azure services<\/a> and managed Office 365 services<\/a> to businesses around the world who are keen to extract the most value from their data, while respecting applicable data privacy laws and data ethics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also anticipate being able to support Connected Technologies\u2019 customer base with their wider needs by offering them our full portfolio, including public & hybrid cloud<\/a>, IT managed services<\/a>, data analytics<\/a>, artificial intelligence<\/a> (AI), and archival & erasure services<\/a>, all are supported by \u2018privacy-first\u2019 data management consultancy<\/a> and specific data privacy regulations assistance<\/a>, particularly GDPR <\/a>and PIPEDA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
